Welcome to my journey.
My journey will detail Silent Rescue’s and other like-minded generosities. I remember Joel Osteen Pastor of Lake Wood Church in Houston TX stated long ago. “If you come around me, you will be blessed.” This is what he lives by and I was passed the baton long before his life’s standard hit the airwaves.
As a young girl, I would come upon stragglers, pan-handlers and the people that society called rejects. I’d glance over my shoulder and hope beyond hope their lives would get better and wish that I could help. The grownups would say that they need to struggle to learn a lesson. “You never know if Karma came to pay them back.” Or “God sees all he would take care of them.”
My question to those who have had an excuse or experience of helping others felt they have been conned or don’t have enough to help anyone other than themselves. Let me remind you of the written truth Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for his deed. Therefore, if someone is asking for help, be it a neighbor, a co-worker or somebody living in the streets. Of course, use discernment and remember God judge the heart. He will not be mocked by those who think they are conning their way through life.
My anointing that God has given me was to give and to love. Sure, I had to learn lessons about those who were not helping themselves and depending on kind souls. However, the bigger lesson learned was life happens to all of us. No one escapes the pitfalls of life and we all needed a helping hand. Some have not been taught survival skills. Other surroundings of lowly circumstances have handcuffed them to its prison. And Sadly, there are some that have never experienced an unconditional love that moves barriers.
I call it a blessing, a privilege, and an honor to extend a supporting hand, a listening ear, and my thriving heart. To learn life stories of storms and achievements is amazing within its self. The storm’s life comes in and grabbing them by surprise and landing them bottom side up. It is our duty as God’s vessels to be his Angels on earth to show kindness. Depending on the kindness of strangers shouldn’t be unfamiliar.
Let’s journey together.
